REFUGE WOMEN'S TRANSITION CENTER WELCOMES YOU
You Are Not Alone

ABOUT
We’re Here For You
Refuge Women’s Transition Center is a woman veteran-led nonprofit organization whose lived military experience informs its trauma-aware, stabilization-centered approach to supporting women navigating transition, hardship, recovery, and rebuilding.
Since 2006, our work has focused on helping women, teens, families, and community members move from crisis toward stability. Our advocacy and outreach have included raising awareness around:
-
disparities impacting women veterans
-
barriers to supportive services
-
mental health challenges
-
transitional instability
-
domestic abuse and emotional harm
-
sex trafficking recovery support
-
access inequities within veteran and community support systems
Refuge Women’s Transition Center exists at the intersection of need and support. When women and families are waiting for help, facing instability, escaping harm, rebuilding after loss, or simply needing food, guidance, safety, or encouragement, we step in with compassion and dignity.
Our mission is to provide supportive pathways that address immediate stabilization needs while also encouraging long-term healing, empowerment, independence, and restoration.
Please remember: you are not alone.
We are here to support, protect, and walk beside you.
